As exhaust gases exit the Coyote5.0L engine and flow into an AWE 180Technologyequipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports and into reflection chambers. Sound waves carried by these exhaust gases bounce off the chamber walls. By controlling the port size and chamber location, we dictate when those reflected waves rejoin the main flowcreating a 180-degree, out-of-phase wave that cancels problematic frequencies.
